The book "Wood of Plane" by Domenico Corna is a wonderful addition to my book collection since it offers a high-caliber narrative with the original theme of a man's search for purpose in life. The author explores another reality and examines people's thirst for information and introspection. An old universe explodes at the start of the novel, scattering ancient souls to many planes. Some of them have forgotten memories and are still on earth. They are currently attempting to reconnect with meditative power in order to access their forgotten memories. For the last mission, they have gathered in an alternative reality. However, they are not alone because some people from Earth have also traveled there in pursuit of a new world.
In this philosophical fairy tale novel, Domenico Corna discovers the essence of life with exquisite prose and elegant language. The author seeks knowledge that the human mind craves by creating other worlds. Spiritual issues, loneliness, and misery are all brought together by the compelling plotline. The author's commanding storytelling style combined multiple time lines to create a gloomy atmosphere. To create such a distinct concept, character sketches are excellent. Both minor and major characters have goals in the novel, which is what makes it so fantastic. The author captivates the reader till the very last page of the book with incredible world building that fits the plot. The reader is engrossed by the top-notch magical system and supernatural talents. This piece of art tells the timeless love narrative of longing and the search for purpose in life. I adored the book so much that I believe it is comparable to Philip K. Dick's works that examine uniqueness. I give this book five stars and would suggest it to everyone who enjoys science fiction and fantasy with a more profound philosophical undertone.
