My newest favourite addition in my beautiful
collection of fairy tales is "Wood of Plane" by Domenico Corna. The
plot opens with the destruction of an ancient world, sending its
inhabitants' souls into several worlds. Many of those arrive on
Earth and begin living among us. However, they have lost their prior
knowledge and memories in the process. Even though they have a
special bond with nature, they lack the ability to travel back in
time unless they are successful in congregating all of the old souls
in the Wood of Plane using the power of meditation. They attempt to
reclaim their freedom with ancient wisdom of serenity after becoming
disenchanted with our commonplace reality of chaos and monotonous
living. Some people on Earth also desire to visit this alternative
realm. But pulling it off is not simple. Will they acquire their
prior expertise and knowledge? To find out, one must read this
particular account.
I must acknowledge the author's skill in using
such lovely lyrical prose to support the novel's original narrative
style, which catches various dimensions and time lines. It's amazing
to see the emergence of such a different universe that gives people
the opportunity to contemplate crucial issues related to human
existence and self-awareness. Another highlight of this book are the
attractive main characters and the driven secondary characters, who
fit the plot and have conversation that provokes thought. Another
outstanding achievement by the author in support of this story line
is the development of multidimensional worlds. "Wood of Plane" is a
fantastic work that aims to address philosophical issues that affect
today.
