The search for a reason accompanies us along
our journey. Sometimes we seem to grasp it but, quickly, it crumbles
losing consistency. Perhaps if we knew it, there would be no need
for a long journey. Among a thousand conjectures, useful to
stimulate the imagination, we continue our journey.
Go away!
As I was walking
chased by a thousand reasons
in order to continue,
I met a cat;
old at least as much as I,
in a perpetual waiting.
Crouching at the door
he looked at me with discomfort.
"Go away, this place is mine!
I spent my whole life to conquer it."
I couldn’t help but ask him:
"How can you not succumb
to loneliness, to the night,
to the frost and to the continuous
uncertain search
of survival?"
Someone opened the door
and the cat slipped in
thanking with the flag tail.
Before crossing the threshold
he turned around smiling:
"Go away! I will not make you share
of the pillow next to the window
Go in search of yours!"
